The following three public schools in Gwinnett County serve the residents of Peachtree Square which are noted below.

Peachtree Elementary School
Peachtree has received numerous awards at the national, state, and local levels. Peachtree has received the Distinguished Title 1 School award for five consecutive years in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2009 including recognition by Superintendent Alvin Wilbanks for achievement above expectations on testing results. In May, 2008, Peachtree earned Candidate status with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program.

Pinckneyville Middle School
Pinckneyville has received many awards and recognitions. In 1992 Pinckneyville was named a Georgia School of Excellence and a National Blue Ribbon School, and for six years Pinckneyville earned the State Department of Education Pay for Performance Grant. Pinckneyville students continually earn top honors in academic and fine arts competitions.

Norcross High School
Norcross High School opened a beautiful 440,000 square foot facility at 5300 Spalding Drive in August of 2001. The new building opened with a student population of 2,400 students who live in the attendance area bordered by Peachtree Corners on the west and Beaver Ruin and I-85 on the east. Norcross High School began offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate program in 1999 and this highly rigorous curriculum now serves over one-third of the student population.
